Hello! I am an first-year PhD student in the Statistics and Data Science department at UPenn Wharton.
I am broadly excited about both mathematical and scientific foundations of machine learning. My research interests include mechanistic interpretability, diffusion models, and optimal transport.
Before beginning my PhD, I completed my BS in Mathematics at the University of Chicago, where I was fortunate to work with Prof. Lorenzo Orecchia on sampling algorithms utilizing optimal transport, and the use of evolution semigroups in studying properties of diffusion models.
Outside of research, I enjoy playing board games (my current favorite is Blood on the Clocktower), attending the symphony orchestra, and SCUBA diving.
